Another track title for McBarnette

Bruce McBarnette, an attorney from Loudoun County, won the high jump event for men 50 and older at the World Masters Indoor Track and Field Championships March 6 in Kamloops, Canada. His winning jump was just over 6 feet (1.85 meters).


McBarnette has now won eight world championships in his age group. He was named USA Track and Field Athlete of the Year in 2008. McBarnette is a member of the Potomac Valley Track Club.
